- Payment information: processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number.

- Usage data: pages visited, features used, and actions taken within PulseBoard
- Device information: browser type, operating system, and IP address
- Cookies: used to keep you logged in and remember your preferences
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide and improve PulseBoard services:
- To generate your weekly business operations reports and recommendations
- To send you your reports and service-related communications
- To process your subscription payments

We do not use your data to train general AI models shared with other companies. Your business data is used only to generate your own reports.

- Service providers: We use Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), and Anthropic (AI report generation). Each is contractually bound to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us.

- Business transfers: If PulseBoard is acquired or merged, your data may be transferred. We will notify you in advance and give you the option to delete your account.
5. Data Security
We take security seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect your data:
- All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS
- All data is encrypted at rest in our database
- Access to your data is restricted to authorized personnel only
- We use Row Level Security to ensure each business can only access its own data
- Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We will notify you promptly if we become aware of any breach affecting your data.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: You can request a copy of all data we hold about you and your business
- Correction: You can update your account and business information at any time
- Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
- Portability: You can request an export of your data in a standard format
- Opt out: You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time
